Our homage to mezcal. The orange rinds, up-cycled from Beepublic Coffee, were slow smoked for 4 hours on oak chips to create this delicately balanced, bright yet smokey spirit. The spirit has a subtle candied-orange finish due to caramelization of some the orange rinds’ sugars. With a gentle haze, this Acid boasts a delightful smokey citrus aroma bursting with flavor.
Our good friends at Beepublic Coffee have recently begun making their own organic orange juice in-house. Instead of simply discarding the leftover rinds from the juicing process they were looking for a better solution and that’s where we came in. To partner together and collect the waste before it hits the landfill, and then infuse them into our distillation process.
